What would be the world of figures of the Erzgebirge without their nutckracker. Besides appels, gingerbread and candies, the golden nuts belong to the traditional decorations of the Christmas terr. However, if you want to eat the tasty kerned, first of all you have to crack the hard nutshell. Therefore the nutcracker was built, and besides their partical function he became an object of figurative representation.
